We are dedicated to helping several feral cat colonies in our area. Our current projects involve colonies in Cambridge and in Paris. These cats have caregivers and are fed daily and provided with shelter.

Our goal is to get every one spayed and neutered so that they stop producing kittens and become a manageable and stable colony. To do this we need $100 per cat. This money allows us to spay or neuter, vaccinate, and deworm one feral.

Once the surgery is complete, we allow the cat to recover and then release it back to his or her home, the colony. This method is called "TNR" (short for Trap, neuter and release).

One of our colonies currently has 12 adults and it is our dream to get as many of them spayed or neutered before spring, to prevent as many kittens from being born as possible.

If you can contribute any amount of money towards this project of ours, it would be greatly appreciated. It would also go a long way towards reducing the suffering which takes place in feral colonies and will allow a feral cat to live a life in the colony, happy and healthy, just not producing more kittens.

As well as financial donations to help us spay and neuter the feral cats in our project colonies, we are also in desperate need of food donations! Any and all brands of both wet and dry cat and kitten food are gratefully appreciated!

There are large numbers of cats at these colonies and as we work away at getting them spayed and preventing new kittens from being born, we do have volunteers feeding and caring for these cats to help make their lives as comfortable as possible.
