Our Wish List and How You Can Help

We are in urgent need of financial and other donations!  Please consider making a donation for us.  Even $10, or a bag of cat or dog food is a big help.  If you would like to make a contribution for our animals directly to our veterinarian, we use both Hespeler Animal Hospital and the Guelph Cat Clinic.  You can also make a donation by sending a cheque made out to "Grand River All Breed Rescue" to our P.O. Box.  Please help us help the animals!  No donation is too small.   

Our largest cost in rescuing pets is veterinary services.  If you are a veterinarian in the Cambridge, Kitchener-Waterloo, or Guelph area, and you are interested in helping, please let us know!

If you are interested in helping us by donating items, we would be most grateful!  Below is a list of items we regularly need, but if you have something to donate that is not on our list, please drop us a line!

Updated July 5, 2009: Our current greatest need is high quality kitten and cat food (both wet and dry).  Please consider donating even a couple cans or a bag!  We thank you for your kindness!

• Cat/Kitten food (both dry and canned)

• Dog crates and Cat carriers
• Dog toys - Kongs, knotted ropes, durable toys, bones
  
• Cat toys - catnip toys, scratching posts, etc
• Leashes, collars, harnesses, etc.
  
• Small animal supplies (we especially need rabbit and chinchilla supplies right now!)

• Kennel donations (if you run a kennel and are able to donate your services occasionally, we would be most grateful!  We occasionally need to board our animals while a foster home is away or while we line up a foster home for a pet)
  

Foster homes  

• We are urgently searching for foster homes for dogs, cats/kittens, and rabbits!  Every day, loving animals are euthanized in shelters due to space limitations.  If you are able to offer your home as a temporary refuge to an animal and provide some TLC, we would be grateful!  Please email or call us if you are interested.  All supplies are paid for, and we fully support you.  You will be saving a life and providing an animal with a second chance!
