Bella & Buddy

Bella and Buddy, we call them the twins because quite frankly, we can hardly tell them apart. These calm and relaxed brother and sister duo are the perfect pair for a perfect balance between quiet and playful. While Buddy suckles and kneads a soft blanket, Bella is always nearby napping. They both love to play, the wand with feathers and bells being their favorite. Along with using the cat tree to its fullest, these twins love a game of chase. And of course come running for treats when the bag is merely touched. Both Bella and Buddy are black and white and are roughly 5 to 6 months old (as of March 13, 2024). We would like them to be adopted together.

Bella and Buddy are available for adoption through Grand River All Breed Rescue. The adoption donation is $325 per cat. All of our cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated as part of their adoption. If you’d like to adopt, please fill out an application. Cali & Joey

Hi, my name is Cali (solid tabby), I am very shy at first but once I get to know you, I am very affectionate. I am the only princess of the family and am bonded to my brother Joey, we are inseparable. We have a night/morning ritual and I thrive off of routine. Where there is one you will always find the other. I am a natural hunter and I like to chase feet, play with toy springs and stuffed mice. When my favourite humans come near me I greet them with my purr, I’m just happy to be near them. Like my brothers I counter surf, I’m very smart, a fast learner but I love heights and you’ll often find me sleeping on the highest surface. I am being raised with two goldens, two older kittens, and my two brothers Joey and Socks.

Hi, my name is Joey (tabby & white), I am very shy and take my time getting to know new humans. When I arrived at my foster home I would always run away from attention, but now I sit still and allow them to pamper me with affection. I am bonded with my sister Cali, she is the one that showed me that touch was safe. I am spunky and love to sprint around and play, my favourite game is to chase my brother and sister up and down the hallways. I need a companion who doesn’t mind my company, I will leave toys at your feet in hopes you will throw them for me. My favourite human works from home so I get a lot of attention and play. I love my scratching post and I’ve never clawed at the furniture.

Socks, Cali, and Joey are available for adoption through Grand River All Breed Rescue. The adoption donation is $325 per cat. All of our cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated as part of their adoption. If you’d like to adopt, please fill out an application. Gizmo & Lola

Gizmo and his sister Lola were rescued off the streets and a life of uncertainty. This little guy is still figuring out that humans are here to give him the loving home he deserves. He has an amazing spunk and lots of love to give once he decides that he is safe and you are his friend. He is advneutrous and sweet and will blossom into a fabulous kitty.

Lola is a sweet little kitten with a loving disposition. She is a shy at first but soon will purr loudly when you enter the room, anticipating her pets. She loves to play and cuddle beside you and will be such an amazing companion kitty.

These two would like to be adopted together as they are very bonded and build their confidence from watching each other.

Gizmo and Lola are available for adoption through Grand River All Breed Rescue. The adoption donation is $325 per cat. All of our cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated as part of their adoption. If you’d like to adopt, please fill out an application. Leia & Padme

Leia and Padme are bonded approximately 6 year old sisters who need to be adopted together. Their adoption fee will be reduced so that they can stay together. They need a quiet adult only, dog free home.

Leia is black with a lighter undercoat. Her coat is more short-haired. She is much more adventurous and is usually the first to come out and investigate something new. She is the one most likely to be out in the open or sit on her tower even with us all in the room, especially if we are relaxing in the living room in the evenings. She is also the first to wander out meowing at meal times.

Padme is a little more hesitant and aloof, but very amicable. She has a gorgeous black, medium-haired coat with a small white patch on her chest and has piercing green eyes. We often call her our house panther and we think she is stunning! She follows her sister like a shadow and is happy to let her take the lead. She is slightly more vocal – will meow when she is heading to use the litter box or when her sister is not close by sometimes – but is not obnoxiously loud.

Leia and Padme are indoor cats, that are spayed/chipped and up to date on shots and would love a home to call their own. If interested in adopting them please apply.

Leia and Padme are available for adoption through Grand River All Breed Rescue. The adoption donation is $325 per cat. All of our cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated as part of their adoption. If you’d like to adopt, please fill out an application. Shilo & Miss

Meet the cutest mother/daughter pair you will ever see! Shilo, a 4-year-old tabby momma, is very inquisitive and sweet. She responds to Mudder (east coast
influence for Mother). We’re confident that this sweet girl was previously a house cat, but we think may have had some unfortunate experiences with people in the past. She may take time to adjust to meeting her new family, but once she does, she loves attention including getting head and neck scratches. She is
very inquisitive about life, and loves watching TV! She is great with other cats as she has offered no issues with her foster’s three cats. Her foster is happy to teach Shiloh’s new family her body language cues to set everyone up for success.

Miss is a 2-year-old black cat (affectionally called “house panther!) She was originally adopted by their foster, however after some hard thinking, her owner would like Miss and Shilo to go to a home together since they are still so bonded. Miss’ favourite saying is “I don’t live with my Mom, she lives with me!”
Miss is very confident and loves meeting new people. Fun fact, she competed in the Canadian Cat Association’s household pet division and finished in 6 th place for all of CANADA (4th for Ontario!) Given her confidence, she is great at the vet, and you can easily cut her nails at home. These two love spending time together snuggling and playing with each other.

Shiloh and Miss are available for adoption through Grand River All Breed Rescue. The adoption donation is $325 per cat. All of our cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated as part of their adoption. If you’d like to adopt, please fill out an application. You can also reach us by email at GrandRiverRescue@hotmail.com.

Frenchie

Frenchie came to Grand River after being saved from euthanasia in Quebec. She also came with a surprise, as she ended up having kittens a couple of months later! We originally thought her only suitable home would be a farm, however she has shown some progression over the past year! She is nervous around people and tends to stay in her own space. That being said, she is so unbelievably sweet and once used to her environment/people will come out and chat with you when getting fed. She gets along very well with other cats, as her foster’s cats have taking a liking to her. She may never be a lap cat, but for a quiet household who appreciates providing a loving home for a cat in need, and enjoys the satisfaction of working with her and seeing her become more confident, she is a great addition! Frenchie’s foster is happy to show her new family some body language cues and ways to start working
with her.

Frenchie is available for adoption through Grand River All Breed Rescue. The adoption donation is $325 per cat. All of our cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated as part of their adoption. If you’d like to adopt, please fill out an application. You can also reach us by email at GrandRiverRescue@hotmail.com.

Han & Chewie [Adopt or Foster]

Han (tabby and white) and Chewie (tabby) would also love to go to a forever or foster home together.  They are playful and fun and love other cats. They are about 5mths of age.

Hans and Chewie are patiently waiting for their forever home. Their mom and brothers and sisters have been adopted. We would like to see them get a quiet home as they are timid but once they feel safe and are comfortable will make great companions. They are bonded and we would like to keep them together. We have reduced their adoption fee to $500 to keep them together.

Han and Chewie are available for adoption through Grand River All Breed Rescue. All of our cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated as part of their adoption. If you’d like to adopt, please fill out an application. You can also reach us by email at GrandRiverRescue@hotmail.com.

Milo & Millie

Milo is a 5 month old tabby (as of August 8) who loves to cuddle and is generally pretty chill. He mostly wants to spend time with his human, and will go berserk for string toys.

Millie is a 4 month old tabby(as of August 8) with a white nose, and she’s cute as a button. She likes to stalk and pounce on her friend Milo and explore any and all surfaces.

We would like this pair to be adopted together if possible.

Milo and Millie are available for adoption through Grand River All Breed Rescue.  The adoption donation is $325 per kitten. All of our cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated as part of their adoption. If you’d like to adopt, please fill out an application. You can also reach us by email at GrandRiverRescue@hotmail.com.

Junie

This is Junie. She is a young (about 18 months) friendly cat. She is black and white marking on her face that look like little tear drops and a white ring around her black tail. She was found pregnant, living in the backyard of a friend of the rescue. She had 4 beautiful kittens (including Juno and Skye). She was a very good mom and now it’s her turn to find a loving home. She is very friendly and loves to play. She is still a kitten at heart. She gets along with her foster siblings but tends to prefer the company of the boys. She would be happiest in a home with another cat and lots of people to give her the attention she deserves.

Junie is available for adoption through Grand River All Breed Rescue.  The adoption donation is $250 per cat. All of our cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated as part of their adoption. If you’d like to adopt, please fill out an application. You can also reach us by email at GrandRiverRescue@hotmail.com.

Skye & Juno

Skye and Juno are ready to find their forever homes! They were born on Feb 21, 2023. They would love to find a home together if possible or with another playful young cat.

Skye and Juno are available for adoption through Grand River All Breed Rescue.  The adoption donation is $325 per kitten. All of our cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated as part of their adoption. If you’d like to adopt, please fill out an application. You can also reach us by email at GrandRiverRescue@hotmail.com.

Percy

Percy is 10 weeks old as of July 5th.

Percy is a calm, quiet boy who can be a little shy with new environments, people and sometimes toys too. He was the most attached to mama out of his siblings and does not mind being held by people, all the while purring his heart out.  Percy is a lovable boy and behaves as crazy as his other siblings. Percy learned a lot backstage from brothers Teddy and Linus, who were quick to push him out of his shell. He is now a superstar at being a social butterfly! He enjoys running around, playing and getting into trouble!

Percy’s siblings are also available for adoption: Linus, Teddy, and Molly.

Percy is available for adoption through Grand River All Breed Rescue.  The adoption donation is $325 per kitten. All of our cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated as part of their adoption. If you’d like to adopt, please fill out an application. You can also reach us by email at GrandRiverRescue@hotmail.com.

Dahlia

Dahlia is the mama of the four kittens. She is approximately 1 to 2 years old. She came terrified, unsure how to behave around people but that changed when she learned she was getting the help she needed and her sweet personality bloomed. She has a lovely voice ranging from soft meows, chirps, and trills to let you know she is very happy. Dahlia yearns for attention and loves to weave around your legs, asking for pets on her head and along her back. She is most content when all four feet are on a solid surface.

Although Dahlia is not fond of being held or snuggled, she may come to accept in the future that these things are nice too! Dahlia is very good at using her litter box! In fact, she does such a good job at covering her mess that it is recommended that she have a large or covered litter box as she tends to kick litter further than she needs to. Dahlia usually minds her own business and is happy to sleep in a quiet corner away from other pets, so should there be other pets in her new home, they should be introduced slowly and with absolute patience.

Dahlia’s kittens are also available for adoption: Teddy, Linus, Percy, and Molly.

Each kitten is available for adoption through Grand River All Breed Rescue.  The adoption donation is $250 per cat. All of our cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated as part of their adoption. If you’d like to adopt, please fill out an application. You can also reach us by email at GrandRiverRescue@hotmail.com.

Shiloh

This sweet, 2 year old, momma loves attention and to be in your company. She’s starting to learn how awesome life can be without babies as she starts to play with toys and adventure around her foster’s house. We’re confident that this sweet girl was previously a house cat, but we think may have had some unfortunate experiences with people in the past. She is comfortable around women and respectful children, but would require any male family members to take a slow, understanding approach to gaining her trust. She is great with other cats as she has offered no issues with her foster’s three cats. She will make an amazing companion to a slower household, ideally a single female but she is learning to trust males who know that she needs time to accept them and adjust.

Shiloh is available for adoption through Grand River All Breed Rescue.  The adoption donation is $250 per cat. All of our cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated as part of their adoption. If you’d like to adopt, please fill out an application. You can also reach us by email at GrandRiverRescue@hotmail.com.

Chloe & Colby

Chloe (calico/tabby) and Colby (orange tabby)

These siblings were born approximately June 2/21.

Chloe and Colby are very sweet kittens. They were rescued from an outdoor situation where they were probably born to an outdoor stray and the resident who found them called for some help to rescue them. They are still very shy of people in their foster home but will enjoy pets while eating. It may take some time for their new family to gain their trust but we feel in time they will settle down.

They will come and eat close to the humans and they do enjoy the company of the resident cat. They are getting used to the dog slowly.

They will definitely need a patient home most likely a quiet home would be best for these two. Please apply if interested in this pair. They would probably love a quiet home with another calm cat to show them the ropes.

Chloe and Colby is available for adoption through Grand River All Breed Rescue.  The adoption donation is $250 per cat. All of our cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated as part of their adoption. If you’d like to adopt, please fill out an application. You can also reach us by email at GrandRiverRescue@hotmail.com.
