Poppy

Poppy is approximately 9 weeks old (as of September 12). She came into rescue at approximately 3 weeks of age when she was found as a stray in
Hamilton. She was a tiny little girl with a severe upper respiratory infection and a large ulcer in her left eye. We are happy to report that she is doing well now and the ulcer in her eye is almost completely gone and her infection has resolved.

Poppy loves everyone and everything. From the first moment she came into her foster home she was not afraid of anyone, even the large resident dog. She is especially fond of sleeping on her foster mom’s laptop.

She has met the other fellow foster cats and the resident cat and she gets along and tries to play with everyone. She will be suitable for any family although she would do best with a family who has a respectful dog or playful kitty. If you think Poppy would be a nice addition to your family, please go to our website and fill out an adoption application.

Poppy is available for adoption through Grand River All Breed Rescue. The adoption donation is $325 per cat. All of our cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated as part of their adoption. If you’d like to adopt, please fill out an application. You can also reach us by email at GrandRiverRescue@hotmail.com.
