Fuzzy

Fuzzy has been with us a very long time. She was a feral cat that we rescued from a colony. She is 13 years old now. She has adjusted to indoor life well. She has come along very well in her foster home and loves being pet and will just purr and purr while sitting on the couch beside her foster mom. She doesn’t like to be picked up but will allow her foster mom to pet her on her own terms. Fuzzy gets along with cats and dogs. She would prefer a home with another cat so we will be only looking at applications that have other cats for her forever home.

 

Fuzzy is available for adoption through Grand River All Breed rescue.  The adoption donation is $200. All of our cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated as part of their adoption. Monty

Monty is a sleek and handsome male black cat who is approximately 1 year and 10 months old (as of January 2013).

From Monty’s foster mom: Monty is shy with new people but he warms up quickly. He loves nuzzling and snuggling. He is a playful boy and gets along very well with other cats in the house and would love to live with a feline companion. He is a big boy with a thick, soft, coat of black fur.

Monty is available for adoption through Grand River All Breed rescue.  The adoption donation is $175. All of our cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated as part of their adoption. Lulu

Lulu is a gorgeous tortoiseshell girl who is approximately 1 year and 10 months old (as of January 2013).

From Lulu’s foster mom: Lulu is a sweet gentle girl who loves to cuddle. Right now she lives in a house with many other cats and would be happier with fewer cats and more time to cuddle with people. She is very shy when meeting new people so she is looking for a quite patient person to love her.

Flower

Flower and her sister Charlene (adopted) were found living in a garage by a kind woman. They were found with their mother, who was pregnant again. The woman who found all 3 cats phoned us and we were able to take the entire group into our program thanks to the help of 2 wonderful foster homes (one being the woman who found this little family!).

Flower and Charlene are approximately 5 years old. (born in 2008). Flower is a beautiful grey tabby and she is also a polydactyl, meaning that she has extra toes!

Flower is currently being fostered in a quiet foster home with no other pets. We believe this would be the best type of forever home for her, as she is the happiest in this situation!

Clara

Clara and her brothers, Austin and Bailey, were found as strays by a kind citizen.  She cared enough about them to contact us, and they are now safe and sound in one of our wonderful foster homes.

 

Clara is 5 years old (as of Jan. 2013), and is black and white, with short hair.  She is very affectionate, playful and friendly.  She gets along well with other cats.

From Clara’s foster mom: Clara is a very low-maintenance, undemanding cat.   She prefers to be pet on the ground, rather than being held or on your lap.  When she is happy, she will roll over and show off her beautiful pure white belly. Clara gets along with other gentle animals.

Austin

Austin and his brother and sister, Bailey and Clara, were found as strays by a kind citizen.  She cared enough about them to contact us, and they are now safe and sound in one of our wonderful foster homes.  Austin was born in 2008, making him 5 years old (as of Jan 2013).

Austin is large brown tabby who loves to be cuddled, carried around and kissed.   He is a very intelligent cat who gets along amazingly well with animals of all species and would do fine even in the most chaotic of homes.
