Stevie, Frankie

Stevie (male black, 9 weeks)

Stevie is an energetic outgoing little fellow with loads of charm. He was the first out of the crate at his new foster home and is keen to explore.

He has energy to spare and loves ripping around and tumbling with his litter mates.

He isn’t too curious about the adult cats and the large hairy dog that share his foster home—he takes more of a live and let live approach.

Stevie is affectionate and breaks into a loud purr as soon as he is petted. He is bonded with his brother Frankie and, when not snuggling with his human, can often be found curled up with Frankie. We will only be reviewing applications that will adopt Stevie and Frankie together.

Frankie (black and white, 9 weeks)

Frankie is a handsome little guy in a dapper tuxedo. He is a shy, gentle soul and took a number of days before he felt comfortable venturing out from his hiding places.

Once he becomes comfortable Frankie is a light hearted and playful. He loves tumbling with his litter mates. Like his brother Stevie, he is a little wary of the adult cats and the large hairy dog that share his foster home, but but pretty much ignores them during playtime.

Frankie is bonded with his brother Stevie and can often be found snuggling with him. He purrs loudly when cuddling with his foster mom and dad and soaks up all the attention he can get.

Stevie, and Frankie are available for adoption through Grand River All Breed Rescue.  The adoption donation is $175 per cat. All of our cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated as part of their adoption. If you’d like to adopt, please fill out an application. Callie & Timmie

Callie ( calico – female) and Timmie (black – male) are almost 10 weeks old.

They came from a rural barn that we have been working with to reduce their population.

Callie and Timmie were quite shy when they came into the foster home.

They have adjusted very quickly to the other feline and canine residents.

Callie is very outgoing and is quite the flirt with everyone. She does not like to be left alone and seeks companionship of either the humans or the other cats.

She loves to play and jump around chasing toys.

Callie loves to give kisses when she is in the mood.

Timmie is a little more reserved but is coming around nicely. He seeks the companionship of his sister or one of the other resident cats. He loves to chase feet under the blankets.

These two are real sweethearts and will make a great addition to a new home. They are a bonded pair and must be adopted together.

Callie and Timmie are available for adoption through Grand River All Breed Rescue.  The adoption donation is $175 per cat. Hamilton

Hamilton aka Ham, aka Hammy Vanderbilt the 3rd

Hammy is a very sweet but shy, blind male rat. He is looking for some friends to cuddle with and play. He loves chewing all things wood and his favourite foods are cheerios and baby carrots. When he first arrived, he was overweight and had some skin problems. With a proper rat food, and fresh veg and water, he is slimming down, and his skin problems have completely cleared up. He is getting more comfortable being handled each day and comes to greet his foster mom every morning for treats and scratches.

Hamilton is neutered and would do best with other neutered male rats or with female rats. He will need slow introductions and patience as he settles into a new home. Hammy is friendly and interested in his foster brother, Teddy, but sadly for him, Teddy is not in the market for a permanent brother!

Hamilton is available for adoption through Grand River All Breed Rescue.  The adoption donation is $30 per rat. If you’d like to adopt, please fill out an application. You can also reach us by email at GrandRiverRescue@hotmail.com.
